Stabilizer, Thruster & Hydraulic Repair
Yacht stabilizer, thruster and hydraulic system diagnostics, maintenance and repairs by our own experienced technicians, with mobile teams available across Europe by prior arrangement.
Master Ocean inspects, maintains and repairs yacht stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, and their associated hydraulic systems. All work is carried out by our own technicians with practical experience in yacht repair and maintenance.
We investigate faults such as reduced thrust, abnormal noise or vibration, hydraulic leaks, unstable pressure and stabilizer operating problems. The inspection and repair approach is defined according to the equipment installed, the reported symptoms and access to the relevant components.
Our services include stabilizer mechanism inspection, thruster servicing, hydraulic hose and fitting replacement, seal replacement, and repairs to pumps, valves and actuators. We also check hydraulic fluid condition, replace filters and carry out fluid changes where required within the agreed scope.
For electrically powered thrusters, we inspect the relevant power supply, connections and control components as part of the agreed fault investigation. For hydraulic equipment, we assess pressure, leaks and component operation to help identify the cause of the problem before recommending repairs.
Our mobile repair teams travel to your yacht across Europe by prior arrangement, working onboard at its berth or in a shipyard. Access and working arrangements are agreed in advance. Where underwater components require access, or equipment needs removal or workshop repairs, haul-out, lifting and refitting requirements are included in the project planning.
We assess the problem, define the scope and prepare a quotation and schedule before starting. Parts requirements and any equipment-specific diagnostic or calibration needs are reviewed during planning. Additional work and costs are submitted for approval before proceeding.
After completion, we check the serviced components for leaks and correct operation within the agreed scope. Where testing afloat or a sea trial is required to assess performance, the arrangements are agreed separately.
Send us your yacht’s make, model, location, equipment make and model, and relevant photographs. Include a description of the problem, any displayed alarms and your preferred completion date to request an assessment.
